You might take one off of one of your tools and take it to the hardware. I am sure they can match it.

Thanks
After checking from the right side it is a 45 ACP.
I have a few sellplates that came on Stars that I bought new that are unmarked (38 and 45 )

Star Reloaders / Unknown shellplate
« on: October 01, 2011, 09:13:44 am »
I was going through some accumulation of star parts and discovered an unmarked shellplate. It is sized between a 38/357 and 44 and is made for a rimless case. The opening measures about .405" with my dial calipers. Does anyone have any idea what it is for?

A 5/8'' housing with double spacers would make about 1".

If it is a rare NIB you can date it by the newspaper packing.

The next thing you need to think about is the powder measure!

I have two ( which I do not intend to sell ) and it seems that to me that you may be a bit pricey.

I must concur with Dave. I have one that is new in the box and after analysing the way that it is installed and operates I realized that I can load more ammo (than I can shoot) that will shoot 2" groups without it . It can be a problem at times .

Same problem here years ago with Remington large pistol. After years of loading Remington I started having problems with failure to feed primers.  When I started having 1 or 2 per hundred I started looking for answers. After examination I found Remington primers were not round and this was the problem. I have found Remington primers with two anvils and and without any. The problem was an easy fix - Federal.
