Lindy,   The Hycar washers I have are molded, not stamped.  There is no cloth belting.   It wouldn't surprise me if they stamped them out of belting at some point in the past.   As I said earlier, I recall a leather washer on a very old Star lubesizer.

In the pictures I posted above, the two pictures are the top and bottom of the same washers.   You can see how the "rubber" is molded around the metal piece in the center.

The washers I'm refering to came with a new sizer/luber purchased in 1956. I'm Guessing there have been a few changes over the Years.
