Shell plate .40 S&W ACP
I'm thinking about changing one of my Star Universal's from .45 ACP to 40 S&W and could use a Shell plate in 40 caliber.
If someone has one to spare, perhaps we could do some trading. I have a complete M-A Systems Eject Ease with all Instructions,
A complete M-A Systems Roto Ease with all instructions, Misc. replacement parts, etc, etc. Prefer to trade but if the price is right,,, Cash.
Please let Me Know.

Thanks for the info.
I wasn't aware that 9mm would work for the 40 cal S&W , but if it will thats a good thing.
If someone has a shell plate in 9mm they can spare please let me know By Email.

The 9mm shell plate I got from Rich Daniels will not work with .40 cal. Your mileage may vary.

Get Rich Daniels to make you one. First class workmanship. Mine works perfectly.

Rich can be found as "Barrel Tester" in the members list on this forum. I have several of his products and they are all top notch quality workmanship.

I think that if you can find an original Star 9mm or 38ACP/Super shell plate, it will work fine for 40 S&W. Every one that I have had would work for for all three calibers.
I have never actually seen a Star 40 S&W shell plate. I do have one that is marked 10 MM.
Sorry, I don't have any available for sale at this time.

I'm In need of a 40 S&W shellplate, and needed to contact anyone who might have one or build them.

The .38 special shell plate can be used to load 40 cal. Although I could have used the .38 shell plate as is, I slightly modified the top of the opening where the case
slides into it by grinding a very slight bevel to allow more room for the case extractor groove to fit. I did this with a round stone on my dremmal.
