Tom,

In Dillon's advertisement for the Super Star kit, it mentions that the kit includes two shell locater straps.   Did you get those straps with your kit, and if so, how do they differ from standard shell locater straps.

Also, the sizing die that came with the kit, is it a full length sizing die of a neck sizing die?

The standard shell locater straps seem to work fine with my Dillon shell plate.

Thanks,
Bruce

Bruce,

I don't recall any locator straps.  I don't have any extra.  Mine do seem to work fine also.  The sizing die is full length.  Some time early on I started to prep my cases, full length sizing and pp swaging and trimming, prior to feeding them to the press w/o a sizing die installed.  Been doing it that way for ever.  I do try to segregate my twice fired cases from the once fired military so as not to have to swage those not needing it.  I don't see how anyone very picky could fl size without at least checking the length.  Tom
ps: I do have 1 extra locator strap with a square nose rather than rounded?
